Around the holidays one of my favorite traditions is baking Christmas Cookies. The basic recipe is an anise cookie handed down through my Great Great Grandmother from Sweden. My family thinks it should be kept as a secret family recipe. As with most things I like to use bold colors and shapes that I'm sure no one imagined about 150 years ago.
