I love to watch the ever changing reflections of the water in our pool. In Palm Springs almost 80% of homes have pools - they are as much part of the landscape as the surrounding mountains. I had done a smaller painting (#138) trying to capture some of those colors and patterns and thought it was interesting enough to make this larger version. I hope to do some more paintings in this color pallet in the future.
